It was a cold and frosty morning, somewhere in the middle of somewhere in the Western Cape, somewhere. It was very early. We were tired. Did we mention it was cold? But we were all super excited… it was shoot day!
There’s something very European about the Cape. The bustling cosmopolitan centre, the lush wine-infused farm lands and stretches of patchwork coastal beauty that all lend to goddess-like photo opportunities… which we totally took advantage of to show off our latest SS19 Pre-Collection. With their hair and make-up styled by Tremayne West (@tremayne_west), our models Toni Schmidt (@foxyfro), Christine Gregory (@deedeenotdexter), Summer Kay (@sumrkay) and Zandi Mgutshini (@zandi_mgutshini) draped themselves over Grecian white walls at Studio26, lazed about resort style gardens and soaked up the early morning sun at the beautiful Boschendal Wine Estate; all the while adorned in the latest SAINT&SUMMER range of stylish espadrilles and beach sandals.
The new SS19 Pre-Collection has already brought so much joy to so many fashionable ladies across the country. It’s got thick straps, platform soles, shell details, gold hues, on-trend colours, all the animal prints and a little bit of jelly, just because we can… and because we know you loved the last jelly range so much that we had to give you what you want.
Given that our new range is all about the summery feels and beach-day-basking, we wanted to recreate a resort wear feel that showcases our SAINT&SUMMER designer ladies footwear as a versatile range that you can wear anywhere. And the uber-talented Robyn Thompson (@robynt_photography) did just that. So we are able to present you with a range that has been made, styled and shot especially for you; the modern sassy woman who knows what she wants, when she wants it and where she wants to be.
